Two buyer paths on one site, without either undermining the other

A custom platform for a London e-commerce studio: eight fixed-price services purchasable through hosted Stripe checkout, alongside a quoted development pipeline with a budget-qualifying enquiry form.

The problem

The studio sells two things that don't belong on the same page.

The first is small, fixed-price, repeatable services — a $10 support hour, a $99 store audit. These should be buyable in a couple of clicks with no sales conversation at all. Nobody opens a discovery call to buy an hour of support.

The second is custom development work, which must never carry a price tag and always needs scoping first.

Most agency sites collapse both into a single "contact us" funnel. That loses the small purchases entirely, because the friction exceeds the value, while simultaneously attracting unqualified enquiries for the large ones.

What I built

A custom platform separating the two paths cleanly, so each one works on its own terms.

Fixed-price services with published prices and hosted Stripe checkout. The buyer picks, pays, and work begins. No quote, no back-and-forth, no subscription required.

Quoted development work presented with full scope and process but deliberately no checkout button, routing to an enquiry form instead. The page explains what the work involves and what the proposal will contain, so the buyer understands why there's no price.

A qualifying contact form capturing enquiry type and budget band. The budget field earns its place: it filters mismatched enquiries before they consume a call, and it lets serious prospects self-identify without being asked awkwardly.

Hosted Stripe checkout, so card details never touch the site and PCI scope stays minimal.

Hand-written HTML, CSS and PHP — fast by construction, with no CMS or plugin attack surface.

The result

  • Two distinct buyer paths on one site, neither cannibalising the other
  • Small services purchasable with no sales conversation
  • Development enquiries pre-qualified by budget before a call happens
  • PageSpeed mobile score: 97
  • Every purchase path terminates at Stripe's hosted checkout — no card data reaches the site at any point
